Sweeping marble staircases — treads, risers, stringers and balustrades cut and finished as one continuous piece of architecture.
Overview
A staircase is the most demanding thing we make: every tread must meet its riser exactly, and the vein has to carry around a curve without breaking. Blocks are selected together so a whole flight comes from the same seam.
Curved stringers and moulded handrails are worked to full-size templates, dry-assembled in the workshop, and delivered numbered in installation order.
